This year we are pleased to offer 4th, 5th and 6th grade students the ability to participate in the East Coventry Science Research Competition. Students interested in entering the competition will work at home on their research plan. Classroom teachers will not be partnering with the student on the project as in past years. However, this website will offer all the necessary information for working through your scientific investigation. After reviewing the resources, use the "Sign-up your Child" tab to register for the Science Research Competition.

-Your child will need an electronic logbook or electronic notebook. This can be created in Google Docs.
-Your child will need a print out of pages 1-12 of this packet to reference.

Students will submit their project electronically as a Google Slide assignment. After successfully registering for the competition, open this set of slides in Google. Students need to make a copy of this template for their own Google Drive. To make a copy the student will go to "file", "make a copy", "entire presentation." Title the copy with the student's name and save it in the student's Google Drive. Students will submit these slides to Miss White for judging at the completion of the Science Research Experiment.
(This year Google Slides replace the hard copy tri-fold display boards.)
