Welcome to my online version of Apples to Apples! I was watching Dr. Lisa Portony & Matt Miller talk about game-based learning on an interview for the 2020 Ditch Summit and it motivated me to try hacking the game Apples to Apples to work in a digital environment. What I came up with is nowhere near perfect but I think it might work--we'll see!

Give each player the link to this site so they have access to the "cards."
Send the players into Google Meet Breakout Rooms & have them open a new Jamboard to use to share answers.
Assign one player to be the "green cards" and the rest will play with the "red cards."
Green Card Player
Share your Screen with the group
Click on the Green Cards link to this page.
Click the wheel to randomly select a green card
Wait for your next step.
Red Card Players
Click on the Red Cards link on this page
Click on the "Spin All Wheels" button to the right of the random word wheel.
Select the term that you think fits & add it to a sticky note on the jamboard & await your teammate's decision.
"Pass" the Green Card & play again.
