Owen J. Roberts High School’s requirements for graduation are based on criteria as determined by the Owen J. Roberts School Board and the Pennsylvania school code. To be graduated from OJRHS, students must complete the following requirements:
Class of 2024, 24 total credits required:
Four years (4.0 credits) of English
Three years (3.0 credits) of mathematics
Three years (3.0 credits) of science from 3 of 4 areas (earth, biology, chemistry, physics)
Three years (3.0 credits) of social studies
Four years (1.6 credits minimum) of physical education. Physical Education must be taken every year. *
Two health classes (0.8 credits) *
A minimum of 8.6 elective credits
Class of 2025 and thereafter, 24 credits required:
Four years (4.0 credits) of English
Three years (3.0 credits) of mathematics
Three years (3.0 credits) of science from 3 of 4 areas (earth, biology, chemistry, physics)
Three years (3.0 credits) of social studies
1.4 credits of physical education *
.5 credits of Health *
A minimum of 9.1 elective credits

College Entrance Requirements:
It should be understood that the requirements for graduation and those for college entrance (including World Languages) may be quite different. Students planning to attend college should consult their school counselor for the scheduling of appropriate courses.
