Please renew your membership.
2026 Membership dues and requirements have been posted on the Cork Board outside of the Office. All members renewing their membership (there are separate forms for Individuals and Couples) must fill out an application and return it with their dues by January 31st. We'll be accepting applications January 5th.
Please remember to track any of your volunteer time.
Every Member should volunteer at least 24 hours per year to maintain your lower membership fee.

Luncheon for the OKI - Police Department
We are partnering with the OKI- Rec Dept to honor our men & women in Blue by serving them Lunch. If you want to help, the sign-up sheets are posted at the center.
JOIN The Garden Committee!
Please consider joining the OISC Garden Committee. We are seeking new committee members to assist us with planting and garden upkeep. If interested, please contact Dave Duty (Dave.Duty@oisc-nc.org).
HOST an Activity or Event!

Weekly/Monthly Chores!
Help us keep the Center tidy and neat by volunteering to do some chores (doing dishes, putting things away, restocking the kitchen & bathrooms). Sign-up sheets have been posted on the bulletin board at the center. Please consider signing up to help us out.
Join the OISC book club on the 4th Wednesday of each month. Bring the book you are reading or one you want to reccommend and we will chat about books. We sometimes exchange books with each other. We take turns picking the next book. Lots of good conversation!
Join the OISC Readers Cafe on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 10am for a non-traditional book club.
We are a group of readers who get together, have some coffee or tea, and talk about the books we're reading . You will get recommendations for books to read - and we often trade books right there on the spot. If you love to read books, come join us at the Readers Cafe. Everyone is welcome!
Weekly exercise classes at 2:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday.

We play Canasta "Hand Knee and Foot" on Tuesday and Thursday.
OPEN GAME TIME
Every Friday 2pm - 4pm come to the game room and bring any game you would like to play.
We play New American Standard (aka Audrey Grant) contract bridge. Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
Intermediate: Monday & Wednesday
Advanced: Monday evening
Monthly Board Meeting is held on the 2nd Thursday
of the month at 3 p.m.
All are welcome to attend.
Monthly Craft Adivosry Meeting is held on the 2nd Monday
of the month at 10am.
You may attend the first few minutes if you want to discuss or bring up anything in person, to the committee.

The Lending Library has been moved to a new location and we have removed some of our older books. So, we are looking to collect gently used hardback books for the library (not more than 10 years old, if possible). Please place donated books on the small table at the library door or on the donated items table in the classroom. Thank you!!
