VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES 

Want to earn your volunteer hours? Sign up sheets for the following volunteer opportunities are located on the Volunteer Corner.  Please consider signing up to keep the Center running smoothly. 

• JOIN The Garden Committee!
  Please consider joining the OISC Garden Committee. We are seeking new committee members to assist us with planting and garden upkeep. If interested, please contact Dave Duty (Dave.Duty@oisc-nc.org).

• ANNUAL YARD SALE

Plans are underway for this fundraiser scheduled for June 5th & 6th. In order for this event to be successful, we need volunteers!  There is a lot of upfront  and day-of work that is needed! If your interested in helping out, stop by the center to sign-up.

• HELP IN THE GIFT SHOP

We are looking for volunteers to help in the Gift Shop in the afternoons when we only have 1 Cashier scheduled to work. You would be responsible for greeting customers/bagging purchases. On the days we need help you could volunteer for a 4 hour shift (1 to 4pm) or a 2 hour shift (2 to 4pm). If you would like to be added to the list to receive communications regarding when we need help, please respond to this email. 

• HOST AN ACTIVITY OR EVENT

Sign-up sheets to host one of our Ladies Brunches, a Meet & Greet, Make & Take or a Sip & Make have been posted on the bulletin board at the center. Please consider signing up to host one of these monthly events.

• WE NEED HELP WITH WEEKLY & MONTHLY CHORES!

Help us keep the Center tidy and neat by volunteering to do some chores (doing dishes, putting things away, restocking the kitchen & bathrooms). Sign-up sheets have been posted on the bulletin board at the center. Please consider signing up to help us out.
