OVMA Class Representatives

Are you the leader of your pack? Becoming the OVMA Student Representative for your class is a great way to get to know your peers, OVMA staff, and even your future colleagues.

Must be in good academic standing at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Serve as a liaison between the OVMA and your classmates, student clubs, and organizations.
Encourage your classmates to be involved with and join the OVMA, answering questions about membership and events when necessary.
Assist at the Midwest Veterinary Conference and OVMA-sponsored events at OSU CVM.
Help distribute information to classmates as needed.
Garner feedback from peers to help OVMA develop new student programs and events
Share student perspective and ideas with OVMA
Serve on the OVMA Board of Directors as a representative to the student body during second year

Free OVMA Student membership for all four years
Priority invitation to all OVMA-sponsored student events
Opportunities to network with leaders of Ohio's veterinary community
OVMA student leadership scholarship eligibility
Behind-the-scenes look into the workings of organized veterinary medicine in Ohio
