The Office of Career-Technical Education and State FCCLA Office have the expectation that advisers will help facilitate these competitions in the role of Subject Matter Experts at the regional, state, and national levels. In addition, the expectation that all advisers will demonstrate professionalism while working with other advisers, volunteers, and state staff during the evaluation of members' projects to provide a positive competitive event atmosphere.


Our talented team will find the best competitive events for you to evaluate based on your knowledge and experience in a content area, along with your interests. If you or someone you know is interested in evaluating, please sign up here. Questions regarding responsibilities as an evaluator should be directed to Dova Zak, Region 1 CDE Coordinator. 

This form is to substitute a competitor, remove a team member, or add a team member.  This form will reflect name changes two days prior to event.  Day of event name changes must be reported to Tally Room.

This form is to cancel an entire event. If you need to remove a chapter member from an event 

please complete the 2023 Regional CDE Competitor Name Change From.   

Each location site will provide the competition schedule no later than one week prior to the event. 

Awards Session

Each regional site will provide a location for an Awards Session. Once the tally room has validated all scores in each event in each level, the Awards Session will begin. Participants will receive recognition at the following levels. These levels are determined by score, without the application of standard deviation Gold (90-100)  Silver (70-89.99)  Bronze (1 -69.99). Ohio FCCLA will not ship medals or rubrics. CDE rubrics will be in the Regional Registration Portal by the end of business on the following Monday after your competition date.
