What are Truman Award Nominees?
Truman nominees are books selected for grades 6-8 that are intended to enrich teens' personal lives.
How many are there?
Twelve books are chosen each year.
Who decides the winner?
Students in Missouri do! Any student in grades six through eight who reads at least 4 titles is allowed to vote. Student votes from the whole state are counted and determine the winner.
Does the library have all of them?
Yes! We have 3-4 copies of each title. They are displayed at the front of the library.
