TRUST
Trust is something that takes a long time to build, but an instant to destroy. We will work hard to establish trust in our program.
SELFLESSNESS
Can you be happier for your teammates accomplishments, more than your own? Hold respect for the game, our opponents, and each other.
TOUGHNESS
We will be the most competitive and toughest individuals in what we do.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Trust will force us to become more accountable to each other. Be where we are supposed to be and make good decisions in order to PROTECT THE TEAM.
EFFORT
We will practice and play harder and be the most competitive individuals on the floor, in the classroom.
ATTITUDE
We will approach every day, every practice, and every game with a mindset that we will be better than we were yesterday.
Practice Importance
You will practice more than you will play. Practices are not easy, and they shouldn’t be. Our practices will be harder than any game. Practice length is based on how hard we go and if we have mastered or improved what we are working on based on the goals of the practice schedule and agenda. A two hour practice can become shorter if we get done what we need to get done. A primary emphasis of every practice will be mastery of fundamentals in all aspects of the game.
HAVE A ROUTINE.
HIGH INTENSITY.
Learn to love even the most basic drill.
Be coachable.
Do not waste time – Hustle to and from drills.
Everything is game speed and live unless instructed otherwise. If you practice half speed, you will be sped up in a game.
Consistently compete and communicate in drills and scrimmages – Make each other better.
