This team – Greg Alexander, Jim Arth, Andy Becker, Terry Bozarth, Dwayne Brown, Mike Church, Bob Cornett, Pat Costigan, Jim Crain, Terry Dill, David Frieze, Dave Griffith, Art Grote, Jon Grote, Bob Gurney, Ron Hall, Hollis Hensley, David Overton, George Peters, Jack Phillips, Rick Powell, Leslie Smith, manager Gary Cornett, and coaches Mr. Jim Hinton and Mr. Harvey Wright – succeeded in taking 1st place at the district meet and winning both the indoor and outdoor state championships.
