Clubs

Our website for OPA sports and clubs--The following clubs are those hosted by the librarians.

The club read as many of the Easy Readers from Frog and Toad, Pinky and Rex, Cowgirl Kate, Biscuit, and Penny as the students could.

In 3rd and 4th grade book club we introduced Poetry to the students. There are so many forms of poetry; narrative, haiku, concrete, and limerick.

The 5th and 6th Grade Book club read the historical fiction book Echo by Pam Munoz Ryan

Yoga Club met weekly for 1st to 6th graders.

Young Runners Club met weekly. They also hosted a Young Runners 5K and received a grant for running equipment.
