NATIONAL WOMEN'S MONTH CELEBRATIONS
2022
The men and women of the Office of the Government Corporate Counsel join the celebration of the 2022 International Women’s Day and continue to participate in the advocacy of empowering women and promoting gender equality.
In light of this year’s theme of the National Women’s Month Celebration, “Agenda ng Kababaihan, Tungo sa Kaunlaran,” and given its mandate, the OGCC commits to push for and contribute to the integration of women’s concerns in the government agenda.
It supports the campaign and the celebration of women exercising their choices, taking chances to make their voices heard, and benefitting from changes. Happy 2022 International Women’s Day!
2021
The Office of the Government Corporate Counsel (OGCC) is one with the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) in the observance of the 2021 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women. The Inter-Agency Council on Violence Against Women adopted the theme “VAW-free community starts with ME”, which theme shall be used from 2016-2021.
The OGCC maintains its status as a work environment that is free from any form of violence against its women employees and it continues to implement programs and policies that ensure the protection of women’s rights.
This year, the campaign also aims to promote awareness about the Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313) with the slogan: Filipino Marespeto; Safe Spaces, Kasali Tayo”. Incidentally, last March 2021, the OGCC GAD Committee sponsored a webinar on the Safe Spaces Act which turned out to be a successful event where our employees were made aware about the existence and scope of the said law. Thus, as part of the 18 Day Campaign to End VAW, the OGCC GAD Committee will launch its own Infographics about the Safe Spaces Act to provide our employees a better grasp of the law.
In light of the foregoing, we encourage all of our employees to participate in any of the activities prepared by the GAD Committee in coordination with the OGCC Management Committee, to show our support to this campaign.

The OGCC is one with the PCW in the month-long National Women’s Month Celebration. Once again we recognize the extraordinary roles of women in the society as trailblazers and harbingers of change. This year, the campaign theme is “Juana Laban sa Pandemya:Kaya!” and the Juanas of OGCC are excited to share and show their participation in battling the pandeMic. Finally, the OGCC reaffirms its support towards women empowerment and that it will contribute to make Change Work for Women. Happy National Women’s Month!
