A professional induction program for new teachers ending with peer review. New teachers will
benefit from intensive assistance and training from skilled colleagues. The integrity and quality of the
teaching profession benefits as new teachers meet the high standards set forth by the school.

Confidential support and mentoring
Structured feedback and coaching systems
Continuous progress monitoring
Semesterly commitment - evaluated at the end of each semester
Hold CA Single Subject Credential
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
Minimum of 1 year experience with OFL/OFY
Must be currently in the Teacher
Application Process:
It is important that school leaders give everyone the opportunity to apply and interview.
Application, created by HR, is completed.
Standard interview format; all applicants are asked the same questions.
Paid out Semesterly as a stipend - Up to $10,000
Mentee is in an induction program
Mentor is recommended, but not required to be the institution’s authorized mentor
Mentor is responsible for making wise, tough, evidence based decisions and recommendations about new teacher’s merits
Mentor may provide an additional layer of induction support
Responsibilities:
Follow all requirements set forth by the institution
Complete mentor agreement between mentor and mentee
Conduct IS and DI (if applicable) observations (templates provided)
Participate in weekly check-ins (template provided)
Semesterly review check-in (template provided)
Semester-end survey (submitted to Principal and CMO)
Paid out Semesterly as a stipend - Up to $10,000
Mentee has completed an induction program
Mentee is new to network or additional support is being recommended or requested
Mentor is responsible for making wise, tough, evidence based decisions and recommendations about new teacher’s merits
Mentor and Mentee continuously work toward semesterly goal(s) and monitor progress toward those goals.
Responsibilities:
Complete mentor agreement between mentor and mentee
Mentor, Mentee, and Assistant Principal and/or Principal set measurable semester goals
Conduct IS and DI (if applicable) observations (templates provided)
Participate in weekly check-ins (template provided)
Semesterly review check-in (template provided)
Semester-end survey (submitted to Principal and CMO)
Provide evidence of measurable improvement
