2023.6.7 Lecture meeting of Tojo Academic Society for the Promotion of Science, 2023

Ltd. was invited to give the 2023 Tojo Academic Society for the Promotion of Science Lecture, "Japanese Gardens that have faced changes in society, the environment, and the times," at Chiba University's 100th Anniversary Hall Tojo Gaoka Hall.

Students from Chiba University's Faculty of Horticulture and Graduate School of Horticulture attended the lecture and learned about the history, techniques, and ideas of Japanese gardens, a symbol of Japanese culture, from Mr. Terashita, a contemporary master gardener(*).

(*) "Outstanding Technical Worker (Contemporary Master Craftsman)" award system

(*) "Outstanding Technical Worker (Contemporary Master Craftsman)" award system: The Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare awards a prize once a year to a craftsman or engineer with outstanding technical skills in Japan. Mr. Terashita received the award in 2011.
