Who is the new librarian?

My name is Jennie Lund and I have been an English teacher for 15 years. I was a 7th grade ELA teacher for eight years, an 8th grade ELA teacher for three years, and a high school English teacher for four years. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and English from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2006, my Master's Degree in Education in 2012, and I am now in a series of library courses to earn my endorsement in Library Science. I love learning new things and being a student! I have also served as a varsity cross country coach, a dance teacher, and have shared my passion for fitness with students through after school fitness programs. Throughout my tenure, a source of comfort, relaxation, adventure, and mystery has been my love of books. One of my greatest joys in education is connecting students with the right book to keep them reading. It is the most rewarding feeling when a student enters my classroom holding the book I suggested and states, "I LOVED THIS book! Can you give me another one?" Yes, I can.
