Mrs. Gonyaw's Friendly Firsties

Hi! I'm Mrs. Gonyaw. This year marks my 27th year in teaching. In fact, it is my 22nd year teaching at BMU where I have taught both Kindergarten and First Grade. I live in Newbury, Vermont with my family and many, many farm animals. I enjoy gardening, reading, walking, painting, and cooking. We are going to have a terrific year!

I cannot wait to learn and grow with each and every student this year! We have so much to do! We will be refining our reading and writing skills, having fun with numbers, working cooperatively with friends, and spending some time in our outdoor classroom. We will also explore :
