Key Learning Components

Throughout these challenging times, it is so very important that we all do the best we can with what we have. Remember that we are each in our own space, looking upon the world from our own perspectives, and trying to thrive and grow in any way we can. In the spirit of supporting everyone, and welcoming them into our space with the very best of intentions, here are a few things to consider when preparing for our PE classes:

  1. Get plenty of rest. Just like in the story Goldilocks and The Three Bears, not too much, not too little, but juuust right! Consider limiting screen time before bed and creating a comforting and calming space and rhythm before bed. Developing a bedtime routine can only help to make for a more successful evening.

  2. Eat healthy and balanced diet rich in whole grains, lean proteins, vegetables and fruit.

  3. Stay as active as possible, for an active body supports an active mind!

  4. Drink plenty of water.

**** Come prepared to move and have fun with us! Consider having a space wherever you are to be able to safely and successfully move and engage in the activities at hand. Close-toed shoes and comfortable clothes are always the best option for PE. : )
