Lisa Kimyachi

Student Support Services Coordinator

Odyssey Community School

Hello, I'm Lisa Kimyachi, and I've been a proud member of the Odyssey team since 2009. Throughout my career, I have worked as a special education teacher with students from Pre-K to 8th grade, providing support and guidance tailored to their individual needs. As the Student Support Services Coordinator, I oversee students with IEPs, 504s, and behavioral needs.

I recently completed my Sixth-Year Educational Leadership Degree at Quinnipiac University. I also hold a master's degree in Language, Reading, and Culture from the University of Arizona and a postgraduate degree in School-Wide Positive Behavior Support from UCONN. Additionally, I have a dual bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from the University of Hartford.

When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our son Blake, and our dog Lily. My hobbies include cooking, reading, cycling, traveling, and enjoying moments with family and friends.

Feel free to reach out to me with any questions throughout the school year at:
