Life is an adventure! Whether I am digging fossils in remote deserts, investigating the possibility of Bigfoot in the Salt Fork forests of Ohio, rescuing wild animals, scrutinizing the theory of Mothman in West Virginia, taming crocodilians, or just lounging with a 22 foot Reticulated Python, my life is an adventure in learning. So which is my greatest adventure you ask? It’s sharing my passion for learning with my students.

I am a native Utahan and absolutely love it here. No matter where I moved as a child (Germany, Arizona, Nevada, etc.) we always came back here. Utah is home. I currently live in Springville with my husband and daughter. My other two daughters, their husbands, and my grandson live close by. I share my home with a salamander, a chinchilla, 2 rabbits, a toad, a tortoise, several cats, a dog, and 4 assorted lizards. I love hanging out with my family (including the fuzzies and scalies).

My hobbies include reading, camping, 4-wheeling with my family, playing guitar, and searching for my next adventure. I love any excuse I can find for eating cheese enchiladas, chips and salsa…and of course chocolate.
