About Me!

Hi! My name is Ms. Pollak and I'm so excited to be your music teacher! I graduated from Robert's Wesleyan Collage with a BS in Music Education, and went on to obtain my Master's in Special Education from Grand Canyon University. This will be my 6th year as Music Teacher here at Owen D. Young. 

In addition to teaching music in school, I also play clarinet in the Dolgeville Community Band and Gloversville Community Band during the Summer, sing in the Mohawk Valley Choral Society during the Fall and Spring, and play the organ at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Dolgeville, NY. 

In addition to music, I love enjoying nature with my 6 year old Husky, Maya (view the slideshow to the right to see pictures!), traveling the world with my family (most recently I've been to Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Austria, Germany, Aruba, and the Dominican Republic!), and watching The Office :) 

I can't wait to make music with you this year!!
