Hello,

I’m Sierra I’m a criminal justice and political science major I’m a sophomore hoping to either be a lawyer or lobbyist when I graduate . I’m from Stafford Va. where I’ve been for about six years. I choose ODU because they offered a great scholarship and I love the area. I like to watch K- dramas and nap. My favorite movie is Moonrise Kingdom. I hope to help ODU be more inclusive for everyone and continue to learn more about human design thinking.

Hello Everyone, I am a Mechanical Engineer Major Student in my Senior Year and I have always been passionate about anything mechanical; being so closed to graduation I decided to join innovate monarchs to help O.D.U. provide freshmen and transfer students with tools to improve their chances of success specifically people in minority groups

I was born and raised in Costa Rica a country with no Military however I gladly served in the US Navy from 2009-2014, I try to follow the Pura Vida Lifestyle and I am always willing to help others and learn something new, Family is always at the center of my priorities and activities

I am a junior here at Old Dominion University majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Pre Health and minoring in Psychology. I have lived in Virginia basically my whole life. I am of Nigerian descent, but I’ve only been one time and I am planning to go again next year. I love to listen to audiobooks and I watch a lot of anime. I hope to travel in the future and learn a couple more languages.

I am a senior majoring in Interdisciplinary studies with focus on Leadership. I was born in Venezuela. I have an Associate in Fine Arts and performance music. I love music, and like to sing and play piano. Music help me to express my feelings and helps me to connect with others. I think that participating in Innovate Monarch open my view to understand the issues that face minorities groups in ODU. I want to put in practice the design thinking model to solve future challenges in my work and in my life.
