Criteria to Join a Subcommittee
Be a member of VAPSBAN. If you aren't a member and want to know more, please see our Contact Us page.
Be willing to commit to monthly meetings. These are typically held virtually.
Be willing to work on tasks between monthly meetings.
Be willing to provide input based on the aims of the subcommittee.

Subcommittees
We currently have three active subcommittees.
Education: The mission of this subcommittee is to responsively integrate the practice of behavior analysis into school settings to promote the field and meet the needs of students and staff while recognizing the nuanced and varied roles of BCBAs practicing in Virginia public schools.
Member Support: This subcommittee is all about our members! Part of the subcommittee's responsibility is developing and implementing continuing education events, but they also focus on how to support our members through various activities and resource development.
Outreach: The mission of this subcommittee is to strengthen the quality of recruitment, supervision, and retention efforts for candidates and credentialed Behavior Analysts in Public Schools.
