My ESL class consists of 4th-grade students of various proficiencies in mainstream schooling. For this class, I am using On Our Way to English: Grade 4 in the context of reading skill expansion. Since my students are at varying levels, this book can be easily adapted to an individual student's proficiency and for teacher-curated class activities. This textbook has very few activities in each unit with no emphasis on grammatical techniques or lessons.
This page contains two subcategories. One is labeled "Evaluation Overview" which contains a review of the pros and cons of this textbook overall. The other subsection "Sample Chapter" provides an in-depth review of Unit 1 of the textbook with photos and activity explanations to help readers gain a better understanding of what the textbook entails and what it provides teachers and students.
