What makes us work is that none of us come from the same place. Nathan studies mathematics and computer science, so he thinks about problems structurally and knows how to build things that actually function. Vera's background in biology, applied statistics, and AI means she thinks in systems and populations, which is exactly what you need when you're designing something that has to work across thousands of different users with different habits. Mike is the closest to our actual user. He's studying IT, he's worked with real people who don't know what a firewall is, and he has zero patience for tools that make simple things complicated. If something we build doesn't make sense to Mike's mom, it doesn't ship.
Security products are either built for enterprise IT teams or dumbed down into a single green checkmark that means nothing. There's nothing for the freelancer, the small business owner, the parent who just wants to know if their family's devices are in decent shape. We're not a team that showed up with a polished pitch and matching hoodies. We showed up because we think the thing that should already exist doesn't, and we want to be the ones who build it.
