Overview
We sent out a Google Survey Form asking Old Dominion University students and staff questions about their cyber hygiene practices, what they know about the topic and inquiries about phishing. Below is the data that we have collected from their responses.
According to the results above, majority of the response indicates that people do think cybersecurity is important for them. However, we are trying to focus on those who answered outside of the majority (<7 on the scale).
The above statistics conclude that no one believes they are attentive to cybersecurity. One of our goals for the FishOutPhish program is to get users to care about cybersecurity, especially phishing, through a realistic phishing simulation.
The pie graph presents how many participants have clicked on a suspicious link or website. It is important to note that people may have fallen for a phishing scam without their knowledge.
