Statistics from the Adentan Municipal Assembly (AdMA) showed that more than 32,400m\t of waste is generated annually and out of this only 72% is collected while the 28% are mainly plastics remain in the system, and this is as a result of poor segregation of waste. (AdMA, 2021). As a result, the Assembly, Centre for Local Governance Advocacy (CLGA) and LOGNET with funding from European Union (EU) undertook the Adentan Waste to Wages project (ADWAWA). Throughout the project lifespan, the Assembly envisages Recycling, Reusing and Reducing at least 50% of plastic waste generated. The plastic waste recycled will be used to manufacture products such as jewelry, school bags, raincoats etc. by creating employment to vulnerable groups such as Women, Persons with Disability (PWDs) as well as Youth. Furthermore, promoting behavioral change with respect to disposal of solid waste especially plastic will be promoted during the project lifespan. Also, AdMA want to be viewed as a healthy and aesthetic environment where people may want to reside and establish businesses. (AdMA, 2022). This study is a cost benefit analysis (CBA) of the ADWAWA project. The costs and benefits expected to accrue from the project were identified, estimated and compared using the net present value (NPV), the benefit cost ratio (BCR) and the payback period to determine the feasibility of the project. It was found that the benefits outweigh the cost making the project economically viable and worth undertaking. Based on the findings of the study, a number of recommendations that if adhered to would go a long way in improving this project were given
