Graduation Ceremony - 05/09/24
The OHS Graduation ceremony is set for Thursday, May 9, 2024 @ 7:00 pm (doors open at 6 pm for guests) at UCM Multipurpose Building (500 S. Washington St., Warrensburg, MO 64093). Any changes to the ceremony will be communicated out using School Messenger and social media.
Tickets will not be issued or required for admittance to any 2024 graduation event/ceremony. No reserved seating will be permitted.

Project Graduation - 05/09/24
Project Graduation 2024 is organized by the parents of the Class of 2024. It is not conducted or funded by the high school; however, for your convenience dates and contact information is provided. Project Graduation will be held after graduation on Thursday, May 9th @ PowerPlay in North Kansas City, MO. Project Graduation Waivers (The activity waiver must be turned into the OHS office by 04/19/24 to guarantee the senior t-shirt from this event). Graduation Dress Code & Expectations
Graduation is a memorable family occasion and we ask that proper decorum be displayed during the entire ceremony so that all present may hear and enjoy the event. We ask that graduates and attendees dress appropriately for the occasion. Graduates must wear their graduation gown, with cap and tassel.
Pure Life Photography is the official photographer for our graduation services. Each graduate will have the opportunity to have their photo professionally taken just after receiving their diploma. Within a few days after the ceremony, all photos will be available for viewing and purchase on their website Pure Life Photography or call (660) 584-7873.

Jostens is scheduled to be at OHS 04/08/24 *Note this is a revised date (during lunch shifts) for Announcement delivery and 04/17/24 (during lunch shifts) to distribute Cap and Gown orders. Baccalaureate Information - 05/05/24
Baccalaureate is scheduled for Sunday, May 5, 2024 @ 2:00 pm in the OHS Gymnasium. This voluntary event is sponsored by the senior class officers with assistance from local ministries. Baccalaureate is a non-denominational, inter-faith celebration open to all students and guests, and is an opportunity to bless our graduates as they proceed to the next stage of their lives. The ceremony features a keynote address from a selected Baccalaureate speaker, as well as the participation of community members and the religious directors who work with student groups. The service will feature music and conclude with a benediction over the graduating students. Graduates should dress in nice attire for this ceremony and wear their graduation gowns (no caps). Attendance is not required.
Graduation Requirements & Financial Obligations Deadline - 05/06/24
Only students who have met all 26 graduation requirements by 4 pm on Monday, May 6, 2024 will be eligible to participate in the OHS Graduation Ceremony. This includes all coursework through credit recovery and virtual providers. Any student who does not meet this requirement by the deadline will still be able to receive their diploma upon completion of graduation requirements but will not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony.
All student fees and fines must be paid in full prior to graduation in order for the graduate to receive their diploma packet at the conclusion of the graduation ceremony. All fees and fines can be viewed using the Infinite Campus Parent or Student Portal system and payments can be received in the office from 7:00am-3:00pm daily.
Graduation Practice & Seniors Last Day - 05/07/24
Graduation practice will take place on the seniors last day Tuesday, May 7, 2024 @ 1:00 pm in the OHS Wood Gym. All seniors will need to wear their graduation cap and gown for practice. During practice, we will rehearse for graduation and senior night activities. The practice will conclude with a senior walking parade through McQuerry Elementary. This is a wonderful event for our seniors to be honored as they walk back through the halls where they started and our K-2 students get to see their future goals!
Senior Awards Ceremony - 05/07/24
The Senior Awards Ceremony will take place Tuesday, May 7, 2024 @ 6:30 pm, in the OHS Wood Gym. This ceremony is an opportunity to celebrate all the academic achievements of the Class of 2024. The evening will feature special guests to present local and state level scholarships to our students, presentation of honors medals and cords, Lex La-Ray honors, 4-year activity participants, A+ recognition, and more. Seniors are expected to dress in nice clothing for this evening and will often times wear their prom attire.
Scholarship Recognition Notice - 05/01/24
Seniors, if you receive a scholarship, provide a copy of your Award Letter to Julie Whitaker, OHS Counselor by May 1, 2024 to be recognized at Senior Awards Night Ceremony. For the privacy of our students, needs-based and disability-based grants are not announced.
