Mrs. Bandy holds a bachelor's degree in Cross-Categorical Special Education K-12 from UCM and is certified as a Library Media Specialist. Currently, Mrs. Bandy is pursuing a master's degree in Library Science (UCM). She graduated from Odessa High School in 2009. She has been married for eight years and has two children. Mrs. Bandy has ten years of teaching experience in special education, with nine years at Osage Trail Middle School in Independence, MO, and one year at Odessa High School. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching her children play sports, reading books, and watching Netflix. As a librarian, her strengths lie in research skills, technology proficiency, promoting diverse books and materials, and creating well-developed lessons to teach literacy skills.
