Please follow these instructions carefully for your mission to be a success.
As part of your partnership with GrabFood, a photographer will get in touch with you soon to organise a photoshoot at your restaurant.
GrabFood offers its partner restaurants a unique food photoshoot with a professional photographer in order to highlight your dishes and maximise your sales.
In order to take quality pictures, a photographer needs to work in the best possible conditions. Therefore please provide correct number of dishes and respect the scheduled appointment time.
In this document, you will find a summary of the essential points for a successful photo shoot.
Our photographer will call you to schedule an appointment for the photoshoot on a day and time that suits.
They will confirm the size of photo package GrabFood has suggested. If you want to change the number of photographs, you must contact OCUS HelpCenter with your request at least 48 hours before the photoshoot.
OCUS will contact GrabFood who will confirm if the adjustment can be made.
The photographer should use natural light (where available) and ideally work with the restaurant lights turned off. We would recommend scheduling the appointment outside of your peak hours.
Please give them access to a naturally lit spot: window, glass door, outside or under a veranda (please check the weather forecast for rain...) or enough space to set up flash lights and reflectors if no natural light is available. This will help them work in good conditions and not disrupt your activity too much.
Depending on the photography package size (6, 11, 15, 20 photos), the photo shoot may last for 45 minutes to 1.5 hrs, approximately. Therefore, it is really important to plan it and to prepare the relevant dishes (we'd suggest your top selling dishes).
The dishes must be freshly prepared prior to the photographer's arrival, just before the photoshoot.
The dishes must currently be included in your GrabFood menu.
Please make sure you are available on the day and avoid cancellation.
The photoshoot consists of the following components:
- Single Dish: 5, 10, 14, 19 single dish images from your GrabFood "Menu".
- Hero Dish: 1 "Hero" picture, highlighting a selection of dishes from your GrabFood "Menu".
The photographer is only allowed to shoot the number of dishes in photo package GrabFood has suggested.
Nicely shot dishes may become your best-sellers, so please choose them carefully in advance!
A good background is essential for good photography, so please make sure the photographer gets a clean table top that can be used as a background (light in colour and of a wood, marble or stone effect).
In addition to the dishes, please provide clean cutlery and tableware as this may help showcase your food in the best possible way.
"Hero" images are a very important part of a photoshoot since they showcase the restaurant. The composition must be cleverly thought out. Condiments such as dipping sauces, ketchups, herbs and spices need to be provided in small bowls.
Combo dishes: Please provide all dishes including drinks that are a part of the combo offer. The photographer is not responsible for missing food items from the combo, IF it is not provided along with the dish.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and your trust.
