SDG Academy Project: Sharing Info

Your Task

Choose one of the Global Goals that is most important to you. Conduct research and create a presentation to share your findings with the world on the following questions.

Guiding Questions:

  • What does the goal mean?

  • Why is this goal necessary?

  • How can people around the world address the goal?

  • What are people already doing to address the goal?

Why do we need to share this information?

There are three major reasons why it is important to learn about the Global Goals.

  1. We need to know what the problems are in our world so we can try to help solve them.

  2. The more we know about the goals, the more we can share with others so they can help too!

  3. Sharing this information is a great, meaningful way for us to work on the skills we need to practice, like critical reading and presentation of information. If we can practice those skills AND make a difference in our world, then why not do it?

This "Projects Page" lists a few different ways you can share your learning with others and show off your Reading, Writing, and other skills as well at the same time. If you have a share out idea that is not specifically listed on this page, just check in with your classroom teacher to figure out how to make it work for you.
