This is a shared space - please clean up after yourself and leave things as you found them.
How do I check out and return books?
Bring your item to the circulation desk. The Librarian or Library Assistant will sign it out to your account. When you bring it back, either give it to one of the Library team or put it in the book return box.
How many items may I check out at one time?
You may check out 5 books, 1 Kindle, 3 DVDs, 1 laptop, 1 camera, 1 MP3 recorder, and 3 magazines.
In order to check out a laptop, camera, or Kindle overnight, a parent or guardian has to sign a permission form before you may take them home.
How long do I get to check out library materials?
Books and Kindles: 2 weeks
DVDs, Laptops, Cameras, Headphones, or Magazines: Overnight, or if on Friday then return by Monday a.m.
MP3 recorders: 1 week.
Can I renew something if I still need it?
You can renew your borrowed item up to 3 times by bringing it into the Library. However, if the item is on hold for another person, the item cannot be renewed.
What happens if I lose, damage, or have an overdue item?
If you have overdue items, you will not be permitted to check out more items until your account is cleared.
If an item you have checked out becomes broken or damaged, you are responsible for paying for any broken/damaged items; unless a solution is worked out with the Librarian.
If you lose an item, you can replace the item yourself with a new one. You are responsible for paying for any lost items.
Special note: Students with significant account dues owed to the Library will have to pay off their balance before they can take part in graduation privileges, celebrations, or proceedings at the school.
