At St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School, we are excited to support this growth by making student agendas available for every child from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 6.

• Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten: The agenda will serve as a communication tool between home and school, allowing teachers and families to share important information and celebrate student learning.

• Grades 1–6: Students will begin developing organizational routines by recording homework, important dates, and reminders in their agendas. We ask parents to review and sign the agenda each evening, and students will return it to school each day.

While completing an agenda may seem like a small task, it is an important first step in developing lifelong habits of responsibility, organization, and independence. These daily routines help students build the executive functioning skills they will rely on throughout elementary school, high school, post-secondary education, and beyond.

School Start Time is 9:10am

• If your child(ren) is going to be absent or late be sure to use  Safe Arrival to report the absence before 9:10 am.

• All late students must be signed in by an adult

  • In-person sign-in using the sign-in book at the front desk

School End Time is 3:40pm

• Please be sure to be prompt if you are picking up your child in the school yard

Please be sure to park a block away and walk your child to school.

Canadian education research shows that frequent absences in kindergarten and early primary grades directly correlate with lower Grade 3 reading proficiency—a benchmark strongly linked to long-term academic success. 

Consistent attendance instills strong habits, protects children from falling behind, and ensures they stay connected to their peers. While keeping a sick child home is essential, making regular attendance a daily family priority gives your child the best environment to thrive. 

In addition, managing last-minute pick-ups near the end of the school day presents considerable challenges for our front office staff. We wish to remind parents/caregivers that early pick-ups are not permitted between 3:10 PM and 3:40 PM.

Should an early pick-up be necessary, it must occur prior to 3:10 PM. Please ensure that teachers and/or the office are notified of such arrangements in advance via email or other appropriate communication.

If you arrive at the school for a pick-up after 3:10 PM, without notice, you will be asked to wait until 3:40 PM.

Our Term 1 Lunch Program runs from October 5–December 18, 2026, with a variety of lunch options throughout the week:

🍕 Pizza Mondays – $2.75/slice
🥧 Pie Fridays – $4–$7 each
🍱 Edo Japan & Subway – alternating Wednesdays; Edo meals $7.50 and Subway 6" subs $5.75.

Orders close: Sunday, September 27

All orders must be placed through School Cash Online. Log in, select the lunch options for each child, and complete your order before the deadline.
