Senior Physics

Our Grade 11 Physics students learn about kinematics, forces, electricity, and magnetism. Our Grade 12 student learn about quantum mechanics, special relativity, and gravitational, magnetic, and electric fields. Students perform labs and hands-on activities to apply the new concepts they learn about in class. Here are some of the great things our students do in our Physics classes:

Analyze uniform motion and gravitational acceleration using ticker timers
Explore projectile motion
Analyze Ohm’s Law and Kirchhoff’s Law in electric circuits
Examine momentum conservation using an air track and air table
