Senior Biology

Our Biology students learn about the human body and the cells and macromolecules that make up life. They perform labs and hands-on activities that help reinforce what they’re learning about in class. Here are some of the great things our students do in Grade 11 and 12 Biology:

Extract DNA from plant tissue
Dissect specimens
Analyze DNA fingerprints to determine who committed a crime
Perform heart rate and lung capacity labs
Explore the movement of water through plant cells
Analyze simulated human samples for diseases
