Writing Contests

The English department at St. Pius promotes a variety of writing contests both local and national. Students are encouraged to submit their writing to these contests and given opportunities to work on submissions through their English classes. Contests include the Ottawa Public Library Awesome Authors contest, the Royal Canadian Legion Remembrance Day contest, OECTA Young Authors award, among others.
