The “Pius On Point” is a new course selection opportunity for students to participate in learning and practicing workshops in the area of aesthetics. 

Some of the opportunities will include introductory half-day courses into different beauty skilled trades (skincare, nails, hair, eyelashes, eyebrows, make-up). Professional artists in these various areas will give students the opportunity to learn and practice skills.  

The second goal is to provide students with information about careers and post-secondary options in these fields. To do this, we are inviting professionals of diverse representation in these trades and varying schools/programs to share all the possibilities available outside of high school.  

Event planning, entrepreneurship and customer service will be explored to support the program culmination of a “Pius On Point” salon day where the students hone their entrepreneurial skills and offer their introductory services for students and staff.
