Our students proudly wear the St. Patrick's HS school uniform. Uniforms are ordered through Top Marks, our uniform company, and include several options for both tops and pants/skirts. Traditionally, our uniform company has held fittings at the school during the late Spring but the information is also available online. Please visit our school website for the school code and additional information. Students are expected to be in uniform starting on the first day of school.
St. Patrick's College High School opened its doors in 1929 when it was founded by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. While the school site has moved several times over the years, the St. Patrick's Irish has been a strong member of the Ottawa community. In honour of the contributions of the school, the Canadian Crown officially recognized the Armorial Bearings (arms and flag) of the school.
Our rich history includes many of our young students going to participate in the war effort. Our Boys of St. Pat's, who walked our hallways and who demonstrated such bravery and courage continue to inspire us today.
Above all, St. Pat's is a home to our Irish family. The school welcomes a diverse and vibrant community who become family when they become part of the school community. The family values of Respect, Collaboration, Excellence and Mindset are the guiding principles that we follow each day.
We invite you to explore an important part of our history by reading the Stories of the Boys of St. Pat's and learning about the War Memorial that is hosted within our school.
We are very proud to recognize many notable alumni who have been part of the Irish Family. Our alumni have gone on to be community builders in Ottawa, world-class leaders and extraordinary athletes. We hope that their achievements inspire our future grads to pursue their dreams, and to reach for greatness.
