The Transportation program (TTJ) allows students to acquire a hands on learning experience in the automotive and construction shops. Various transportation and construction technologies are used to help students learn and gain the practical experience needed. This program enables students to further develop technical knowledge and skills as they study, test, service and repair engine management systems, power trains, steering/control, suspension, brake and body systems on vehicles, small watercrafts, and/or small engine products.
Courses are also offered in Construction (TCJ) and there is also a grade 9 Exploring Technologies (TIJ) option to get a taste of several different aspects of Technology courses.
Up to grade 11, students can explore the world of transportation technology without any prerequisite courses.
