Welcome to a new year of PGL at the new St. Andrew site! I am delighted to be continuing with the PGL program for the 2019-20 school year and look forward to seeing the 40 returning students and meeting 26 new PGL friends. We will build on the PGL growth from last year and continue with engaging and collaborative activities. PGL is an exciting and challenging learning and teaching experience for me and the students. I look forward to learning about the student's passions and supporting them to develop their interests while developing skills to better our communities.

I have been teaching since 1994 and have taught a wide range of regular and special education classes as well as specialized teaching placements. I'm a mom and wife and our family enjoys outdoor activities, board games, and time with family and friends.

My goal is to support the unique strengths and needs of the gifted learners in this class so they can be challenged and grow in this program. As a Google certified educator, I strive to effectively integrate technology used as a learning tool while ensuring productive practices.

I have always believed that education is a partnership and I value open communication with students, families and school. My inspiration for this year continues to be a quote from Julie Payette "Every hurdle one surpasses makes one grow." This quote emphasizes that challenge leads to growth, a key component of our PGL program.
