After working as a Master Technician for over thirteen years, I took a big leap of faith and applied to Teachers College at Queens University! My wife was pregnant with our first son, Charlie and I was lucky enough to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher! I graduated from Queens and started teaching with the Ottawa Catholic School Board. I am now a teacher here, at St. Mark Catholic High School, and very proud of it! I was a student who really didn't like school - and to now work in one every day and enjoy coming to work is a true blessing!
I am a proud Dad of two great boys, Charlie and Brian. When I'm not at school, I'm hanging out with my family and friends.
It shouldn't be a big surprise that I love cars - working on old ones and driving around on my John Deere Tractor - yup John Deere Green. My boys love hockey, and they have made the wise decision to be Chicago Blackhawks fans like me! I build a rink for them in our back yard every year and look forward to the year they can build it themselves (if you haven't built a rink - trust me it's a lot of work). I'm also an NFL fan - Atlanta Falcons are my team.
I'm a pretty open book and happy to share my story of how I got to where I am today. Feel free to drop by and see me anytime or send me an email.
