- Directions for the video challenge

The goal is to tell Madame how you are doing in French using a record video.

If Gr.3 : Madame is looking for 5-6 sentences to be said.

If you want to do more, you are more than welcome to do so.

French Sentences

1) Je vais bien/ mal

● J’ai aidé Maman ou Papa à faire _________ ( insert example).

- Practice this week and try to send it to Madame if you can by the due date.

Listening Log

- Please see google doc in child’s French folder.

A)Mme. McCann's Fun French Videos ( These videos are more aimed for grade 3, but grade two you can give this a try!) I have uploaded a VERY OLD French series that I used to watch when I was in school- Telefrancais!

B) Mme. McCann's Playlist ( More songs and Mini TFO). More geared for grade two and grade one.

c) CBC Radio Pour Les Petits : Yes this is for “Pre-scolaire” but they do speak fast on it so it is appropriate for primary (gr.1-3). Might be difficult for grade 1 right now.

I can listen to one French video or song per week and tell Madame the words I listened to.

Reading Log

- Use Raz- Kids and Boukili or Biblio Virtuelle OCSB that can be found in the website : St. Isabel French Learning Tools ( this website has been sent out in the previous weeks..

- Google doc for Reading log is in Student’s French folder.

- I can show Madame that I am reading in French and learning new words.

7) OCSB has updated a variety of resources for learning online. They have also made a spot for French learning. Learn at Home OCSB. Please click on grades 1-3. From there you can see English and French Language Resources as well as Social Studies in French!
