Back to School Information Package

HomeOttawa Public Health (OPH) provides public health programs and services to individuals and communities while advocating for public policies that make our city and its residents healthier.

Remember to wash your hands throughout the day regularly!

Technology

Students -- BYOD
All of our work will be accessible through HAPARA WORKSPACE
No sharing of devices or materials -- If absolutely necessary then we will use a Lysol Wipe to wipe surfaces, wait for it to dry completely and then allow someone else to use the materials.

NO BELLS!!
Teacher will dismiss students
Students will NOT be released early. Must stay in class until the teacher dismisses you (staggered release times to limit risk of exposure)

BREAK TIME!!!

Lessons times will be longer than they ever have been before.

There will be built in break times throughout our lessons.

We will also schedule times to go for a walk outside from time to time. This will allow us to keep our distance and remove our masks.

Responsibility For Materials & Cleaning Your Stations

EACH of you will have your own bin that is labelled with your name. Each bin contains pencils, pencil crayons and a ruler.

You are responsible for your own materials. Materials are NOT allowed to leave the classroom. Please only touch and use materials from your own bin.

Desks & Chairs

Desks & chairs will be cleaned before students arrive.

Students are responsible for cleaning their station at the end of class. Cleaning supplies will be provided.
