In partnership with Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization our MLO supports our newcomer families to Canada. This program addresses the settlement and integration needs of newcomers, immigrants, refugees and first generation Canadian students and their families to ensure a successful school experience for the students and that both students and parents are fully integrated into the community.
For those students who are struggling with addictions issues (drugs, alcohol, gaming, etc) or who have family members who have problems with addiction.
To counsel students on a variety of issues including personal relationships, family concerns, mental health, etc.
Mental health Worker: Dilys Chuinkam
To build skills around stress, anger management, anxiety, healthy habits
To students in a variety of ways including educational testing and personal counselling.
Graduation Ceremony: Thursday, June 25th @ 10am at the Shenkman Arts Centre
All graduates must arrive by 9:00 a.m. to prepare for the ceremony.
The ceremony and reception that follows will be concluded by 1:00 p.m.
Seating at the Commencement Ceremony is by General Admission, however, every guest MUST have a ticket to attend. The graduate does not need a ticket, tickets are for guests only. As the venue has a capacity limit, every graduate is guaranteed 3 tickets. Graduates will also have the opportunity to put their name forward for an extra 4th ticket, and a draw will be done to determine the distribution of extra tickets.
A Google Form will be sent to all graduates in May to sign up for tickets.
Rehearsal for graduation is on Wednesday, June 24th @ 9am at Lester B. Pearson High School
Please arrive on time. At the rehearsal, we will run through the process for the ceremony, its timing, and procedures. As well, you will receive your grad tickets for the ceremony once the rehearsal is complete.
Prom: May 28th, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the NAC - Tickets are on sale from Monday, March 23rd to Friday, May 1st by SCO. Also, in the Caf gym at lunch from April 27th- May 1st. Tickets are $130 each (cash or tap). Guest/date tickets are also $130. Volunteer hours MUST be completed and submitted to purchase your tickets. See Ms. Bye and Ms. Snider for more details.
