The introductory unit will give students an overview of what they will learn in the course. It will also introduce the course, class, assignments and online expectations. Students will get familiar with logging onto school computers and to the board intranet. They will also create accounts on 3rd party services that we will be using (GitHub and Codespaces).

Key concepts students will learn are:

• Logging onto school network and board intranet

• What to submit for evaluation and how

• Get a GitHub account and a Codespaces account

• What is an IDE
