This is a phonics program that will help students work on adaptive exercises in phonics, word recognition, and comprehension. Students will take a placement test when they first login, and then it will provide lessons and activities right at their learning level.
Once all of the students in the class are set up, your child will learn how to log in and get started! If you are unfamiliar with RAZ Kids, I can help get you started!
On our class account, I will be "assigning" lessons and activities to the children. These activities will be specific to their IEP goals. If you are not currently accessing the program, please let me know and I can send you the login information.
You can login for a free subscription with limited access to games and activities. They are divided by grade and are pretty fun!
Here is a YouTube video of the letters and their sounds. We use these songs and actions to help us remember the letters. We have the posters in our room and the students are very familiar with the actions. If your child is having trouble remembering the sound that a letter, or the sound that a group of letters makes, this is a good reminder!
