My name is Paulette Moon and I am very excited to be the Media Specialist for Oconee County Primary School. My career in education started in 2002 at Conyers Middle School in Conyers, Georgia.  While at CMS, I taught 7th grade social studies for two years and coached the CMS cheerleading squad.  In 2004, I began teaching at Youth Middle School in Walton County.  I taught 6th grade social studies for three years at YMS.  During my time at YMS, I coached cheerleading, served as the SST chairperson for my team, and worked on the textbook adoption committee for the social studies department.  In 2007, I started my journey as a Media Specialist/Librarian at Atha Road Elementary School in Walton County.  During my time at ARES, I served on the Title I committee, the Leadership Team, organized Literacy Nights, and school book fairs. One of my most exciting experiences as a Media Specialist came in the summer of 2011, as I was honored to be selected to participate in the Library of Congress Summer Teacher Institute in Washington D.C.  I have been the Oconee County Primary School Media Specialist since 2015.  I could not ask to be at a better school than OCPS!  The teachers and staff are kind, hard working, and dedicated to giving our students the best education.  I am so proud to be an OCPS Little Chief!

I feel very blessed to be at such a wonderful school! I love helping the Little Chiefs of OCPS explore all that the library has to offer!  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband Josh, daughter Emma, son Evan, and of course- reading!
