FFA Meetings
Meetings every 3rd Wednesday of the Month after school!
FFA Meetings are a great way to meet new people and learn about upcoming events! At most meetings, we will have some sort of snack, hear upcoming announcements and have an activity planned such as turkey bowling, watching a movie, minute-to-win-it games, service projects, and more!

This year, our chapter is trying out something new! We will be organizing three committees to help us plan and execute activities for the upcoming school year.
Committee Meetings will be held once a month during Warrior Period FFA Meetings!

Growing Leaders
Quality Standards
Leadership: Activities that help the individual develop technical, human relations and decision making skills to grow leaders.
Healthy Lifestyle: Activities that promote the well-being of students mentally or physically, in achieving the positive evolution of the whole person.
Scholarship: Activities that develop a positive attitude toward lifelong learning experiences.
Personal Growth: Activities conducted that improve the identity and self-awareness of members. These activities should reflect members’ unique talents and potential by reinforcing their human and employability skills. Support Group: Activities conducted to develop and maintain positive relations among FFA, parents and community leaders interested in supporting agricultural education.
Chapter Recruitment: Activities conducted to increase agricultural education enrollment and/or FFA membership and encourage greater participation.
Safety: Activities that enhance safety in the community.
Agricultural Advocacy: Activities conducted to articulate and promote agricultural programs, practices, policies and/or education to elicit action.
Agricultural Literacy: Activities that help consumers become better informed about the production, distribution and daily impact of food, fiber and fuel.
Livestock Show Team
Exhibiting livestock can be very rewarding for a student and their family. The Oconee County FFA is excited to offer such a valuable livestock program for our members. However, having a livestock project is a great responsibility that should not be taken lightly. Unlike many other school activities, exhibiting livestock is a family event. The parents must be supportive of their child throughout this entire project including daily chores as well as helping the show team at shows.
