The objectives of the athletic training program at North Oconee High School are to provide primary care, injury and illness prevention, wellness promotion and education, emergent care, examination and clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions to our student-athletes.
Who are athletic trainers?
Highly qualified and multi-skilled allied healthcare professionals who render service or treatment under the direction or in collaboration with a physician
Hold bachelor/master's degrees from CAATE accredited programs
Obtain credentials through the Board of Certification
Further their knowledge and skills through the practice of continuing education
Can be found in schools, colleges, professional sports, clinics, hospitals, corporations, industry, and military
