My name is Angela, and I am a K-12 Science Instructional Coach for Onondaga-Cortland-Madison BOCES, a NYSED Education Specialist for the Intermediate Assessment and the STANYS conference director. Before taking on these roles, I taught 7th-grade science in Central New York for 20 years.

Throughout my career, I became deeply passionate about transitioning to a student-centered classroom. With incredible support from organizations like STANYS, the New York State Master Teacher Program, and educators like Paul Anderson, I witnessed firsthand how powerful this approach can be.

This website is a passion project born from that experience. My goal is to share resources and strategies that help educators across New York State confidently implement the NYSSLS and build a vibrant, solutionary classroom.
