Welcome to 7th Grade Career and College Exploration! This course is designed to help you discover your personal strengths, investigate the evolving workforce, and design a customized path for your future. Throughout this semester, you will build a digital "Flight Plan"—a personalized roadmap that connects your unique talents to real-world high school endorsements, college pathways, and future career fields.

🎯 Course Learning Objectives (TEKS Alignment)

By the end of this semester, you will be able to:

• Analyze your own strengths: Review and discuss your personalized career interest and aptitude profiles (TEKS 1.A.i).

• Navigate industry fields: Explore and describe the official Texas CTE Career Clusters (TEKS 1.A.ii).

• Investigate job options: Identify specific high-demand career pathways within your top interest areas (TEKS 1.B.i).

• Forecast the future: Research emerging technology-driven jobs and evaluate changing industries (TEKS 1.C.i).

• Read economic data: Analyze regional workforce trends and determine how automation and AI change careers (TEKS 1.D.i).

• Work like a professional: Apply interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and communication to complete team projects (TEKS 3.G.i).
