Each fall, we invite several local colleges to visit Oceanside High School to meet with eligible students. During the on-site admissions meeting, students have the opportunity to interact with admissions representatives and receive an immediate admissions decision and potential scholarship information.
Each fall, a number of college representatives visit Oceanside High School to meet with interested juniors and seniors. During these sessions, representatives present information about majors, programs, scholarships, admissions requirements and answer questions from students. The dates and times of these sessions can be found on Naviance. To register, students need to follow the prompts on Naviance. On the day of the info session, students are required to pick up a pass from the Counseling Office.
In recent years, some schools have begun to shift towards a test optional admissions policy. A list of those schools can viewed by clicking on the provided link in the side bar. It is highly recommended that you have a conversation with your counselor prior to deciding whether or not to send your scores to test optional schools so you can better understand the pros and cons.
